Kitty and Zoltan, our guides in Obuda, made this a unique experience ! We ate, we drank, we walked, we learned, we had a lot of fun ! For the first stop ( after a short history lesson at the Roman Ampitheatre ) , we visited a local butcher shop, trying charcuterie, the most amazing sausage and pork belly, we then went on to a local bakery, sampling strudel and coffee, before heading on to what was possibly the largest plate of food I have ever had placed in front of me at a local restaurant specializing in pork knuckle. We finished the tour at a family restaurant, with soup and desert, and with full bellies staggered outside to get our uber home. We would highly recommend that you do this tour, but believe them when they say come hungry - you definitely won't go home hungry !

We participated in the walking food tour in obuda Hungary. We really enjoyed having Zoltan as our guide. He went out of his way to make sure we all had a good experience and there was so much food! You could tell he was passionate about his home town and we appreciated the local experience that he provided. If you have time, highly recommend this tour with Zoltan.

We did this tour early March. Zoltan was our guide. The restaurants were top class, we always got huge amounts of food, and if there was any room left in our stomachs there was always a possibility to get more. Zoltan was a great guide and did very well when showing us important buildings and landmarks in between foods. We added the wine package and once again we got much more than expected. Zoltan took pictures for us during the tour which he sent afterwards. He also made further recommendations for restaurants to visit on our own.

Gyorgy was an exceptional guide who added an incredible amount of history and humor to the tour. I was truly impressed by his knowledge of the area and his knowledge of the food and drinks. He and his assistant represent the country well and enabled us to better understand the culture. We visited multiple excellent locations and had a great time. I’d recommend this tour to anyone.

Great tour of Obuda with the interesting and always entertaining Zoltan. A culinary feast of local Hungarian cuisine matched with plenty of wine and Palinka! Highly recommend this tour to get an authentic view of the city.
