We had an absolute blast on our food tour. We experienced a variety of different foods and types of venues on our tour which gave us great insight into Melbourne's food scene. Certainly places that we wouldn't have discovered on our own. We were extra lucky to be led by the incomparable David. It is evident how much David cares about making sure that each person has a memorable experience, as he finds ways to personalize the tour. We so enjoyed our food tour with Jeanie. We experienced a variety of sweet and savory foods. Jeanie provided history and personal stories about important sights. She even shared her love for baking with us. The cookies she made were delicious! We highly recommend this tour.

Review: The perfect ode to foodie Melbourne

I’m from Australia and have visited Melbourne many times, and my friend is a first-time visitor from the US. We both got so much out of this tour - I learned secret spots I’d never have known about, and he got an excellent introduction to the very best of Melbourne. Our guide, Troy, took the time to get to know us and picked places he knew would appeal to our different tastes. We ate so much good food and enjoyed some lovely drinks. We finished the tour full and satisfied but not uncomfortably so, with a whole new appreciation for this excellent city. The indigenous food, the special coffee and the surprise treats were highlights (I don’t want to give too much of it away - after all, it is a secret tour!). I also enjoyed wandering down hidden laneways I hadn’t known about before. I’d recommend this for both locals and visitors, and I’m even considering joining the one in Sydney, where I’ve lived for many years, to uncover some new gems! Thanks heaps Troy, we had a fantastic time.
