We met our tour guide, Yuri on Copacabana beach along with 5 other foodies Yuri guided us thru the neighborhood around Copacabana where we tasted coconut water. Açaí frozen dessert, a pork, cheese and pineapple sandwich, a traditional shrimp dish with rice and currasco, a beef and black bean empanada like pasty, Galeto that Anthony Bourdain raved about as well as a dessert made with papaya whipped with ice cream for dessert Additionally we tried a traditional Brazilian beer a Capirinha and a drink made with passion fruit, mango and Brazilian liquor mixed with an Amazonian herb that makes your lips a little numb Great tour! Great company! Great food but terrible weather

Yuri is an excellent tour and food guide as well as being very friendly and personable! We had a great time on the tour learning about Rio and experiencing a variety of local foods. Highly recommend Secret Food Tours and our great local guide Yuri!

Secret Food Tours, with our particular tour led by Yuri, was a phenomenal way to get inside the culture and food of this most iconic of cities. A lovely mix of foods, with a passionate, knowledgable and personable guide in Yuri. 10/10 would do again for the yummy food and fantastic vibes !

I love a food tour and Yuri was an absolute delight in Brasil. Very informative, very personable and just pleasant. We went to some amazing spots and it was nice that he was well versed in the history and also could make connections to us as North Americans. Highly recommend
